Well Worth The Wait

Hey Folks

So My First Year Of University Is Over Now I Have All The Time In The World To Take Photographs Right? Wrong. I Don't Have My Computer Any More So I Can't Upload Any Shots. The Only Time I Can Load Any Of My Pictures Is When I Ride My Bike To Collingwood To Visit My Sister And My Computer Which Means My Posts Are Going To Come In Clusters. Be Patient And I Will Have Stories To Share And Pictures To Boot! Thanks For Veiwing And Check Back In A Little While To See If I Have Anything For You. CHEERS

Welcome & Goodbye

I Haven't Posted Much Recently Due To Lack Of Photographing. I Haven't Been Photographing Much Lately Because I Am In The Midst Of Ending My First Year Of University And By Ending I Mean Starting Because I Still Have Most Of The Terms Homework To Start And Finish Within The Next Few Days. Anyways, This Is South Campus Hall And It's The First Building You See When You Pull Up To The University Of Waterloo & Is Therefore The Last Building You See Before You Leave. Sonce I Am Leaving Here On Friday I Thought It Appropriate To Introduce & Welcome You To A Bit Of The School Where I Have Been Hiding The Last 8 Months. It Is The Last building I Will See When I Leave Here In 2 Days. So To That I Say "Welcome & Goodbye." 

In Violet Light

I Can Feel It. It's Almost Here. The Flowers Are Blooming. The Birds Are Back. There Is A Certain Smell And Warmth That Floats Along The Breeze. SUMMER MAN! SUMMER! In Only A Matter Of Days I Will Be Free From This Institution And Summer Will Begin Just A Little Earlier This Year - I Could Get Used To This. Cheers

So Today I Wandered Around Campus For A Little While Taking Numerous Pictures Of Anything I Found Interesting. This Guy Allowed Me To Get Nice And Close And Even Seemed To Enjoy Being Photographed. After I wandered Around Campus I Met Up With Justin And Kris And We All Grabbed Cameras And Headed Out For A Photographing Adventure Around Town. We Had Fun And Got Lots Of Great Shots And Lots Of Potatoe Wedges For Dinnner. Here Are A Few Shots From The Day - Enjoy

The First Shot I Took After Meeting Up With Kris And Justin I Simply Looked Up And Said That's Neat And Then Snapped The Shot. Turned Out Decent Enough To Be Posted And It Highlights Just How Glorious Today Was - Love The Spring Weather.

Hard To Believe A Similar Fellow To This Girl Was Once Labelled An Ugly Duckling - These Birds Are Beautiful. I Found Her Patrolling The Edge Of Silver Lake In Waterloo Park On Today's Adventure With Kris And Justin. 

Time To Reflect

Nearing The End Of Our Photo Adventure We All Stopped To Snap A Few Shots Of This Old Building. I Rested For A Moment In The Mist Of The Small Waterfall Not Seen, But At The Very Edge Of This Photograph And Took Some Time To Reflect On The Year That Was - My First Year At University.

Here's A Shot From Tonights Sunset. I Was Sitting Here On My Computer And Glanced Out My East Facing Window For A Second And Noticed The Buildings In The Distance "Glowing" In The Warm Light Of The Setting Sun. I Knew I Hadn't Much Time If I Wanted To Catch A Piece Of This Once In A Life Time Moment (let's face it, there will never be another moment exactly like the moment that just passed) So I Grabbed My Camera, Hopped On My Bike And Raced Out To Snap A Few Shots. Hope You Like 'Em.

The "Cloudesque" Sky

The First Day I Ever Talked To That Crazy Haired Character Chloe Dubois She Described A Scene Of Beauty Using As Many Eloquent Words She Could Think Of. Then She Busted Out The Word Of All Words: "Cloudesque." We Shared A Laugh After That And The Friendship Had Begun. Just Another Shot From Tonights Sunset - Enjoy.

- Joel Mieske - A While Back I Went To An Intransit Show That Was A Wicked Awsome Good Time Over At Wilfs Pub In Laurier. The Night Was Spent Snapping The Shots With Messed Up Camera Settings And I Was Too Lazy To Adjust For Better Pictures. Some Turned Out Nice, Some Not So Nice, But The Point Is I Had A Good Time And Saved A Few Images For The Memory.
