Stating The Obvious

As An Environmental Resource Studies Student I Know All Too Well The Negative Effects That Automobiles Have on Nature And The Environment. Carbon Dioxide Levels In The Atmosphere Are At An All Time High Since The Planet Has Existed. Acting As A Green House Gas, CO2 Is The LeadingContributor To Gloabal Warming And Has Many Trickle Down Affects That Deteriorate The State Of Our Planet And Environment. Reduction Is The Only Solution; We Need To Reduce The Use Of Automobiles On The Road Since They Are Among The Highest Producers Of CO2. We Are Driving Ourselves To Death. If You Don't Believe Any Of This Global Warming Mumbo Jumbo Then Just Consider The Following Photograph I Took On A 300Km Bike Ride To Red Bay And Back Last Week. No Matter How You Look At It, Cars Kill. Posted by Picasa

My Spot

When I Went Up North A Few Weeks Ago I Quickly Discovered This Spot And Claimed It As Mine. I Would Take The Paddle Boat Out To This Small Granite Island In The Middle Of White Fish Lake And Just Hang Out And Let My Senses Tell Me The Story. You Know What I Mean? I Would Just Sit Back And Take It All In. This Is My Spot. Posted by Picasa

War Wounds & Battle Scars

This Is Chlo's Knee After A Decent Crash On Our Practice Run At Albion Hills For "Hot August Nights" 24 Hour Race. After Climbing A Pretty Rediculous Hill She Failed To Hop A Log At The Top And Bailed Over Her Bars And Down A 2ft Drop Straight On To Her Already Mangled Knee. Most Kids Would Pack It In At This Point But Chloe Finished Her Practice Lap And Went On To Complete 5 More Gruling Laps Of The 17Km Mostly Up Hill Track The Next Day/Night In About 8 Hours. She Really Is Incredible And My Hat Goes Off To Her For A Great Race. Cheers Folks! Posted by Picasa

Sister Golden Hair

Here She Is Again - Chloe - This Time At Sauble Beach On Our Way To Red Bay On The Bruce Peninsula After Our Not So 24 Hour Race At Albion Hills This Weekend. We Had A Blast While Were There But Did Not Get As Much Racing In As We Would Hve Liked Due To Mechanical Difficulties. Anyways, A Few Race Shots Are On The Way So Stay Tuned.
P.S. She's Not My Sister, For Those Of You Who Don't Frequent This Site, "Sister Golden Hair" Is A Song By 'America' And Seemed To Be Fitting Title - That's All.

Placid Beginnings

When You Wake Up Every Morning To Beautiful Calm Waters Glowing In The Golden Light Of The Rising Sun You Can't Help But Be Laid Back. It's A Totally Different Lifestyle In Cottage Country Where Everything Is Appreciated And People Take The Time To Soak "It" Up. I Love Muskoka. Posted by Picasa

Mini Monster

I Found This Huge Catipillar Roaming The Dock On Whitefish Lake. He Felt So Cool And These Were The Only Decent Shots I Could Get Before My Batteries Died. They Turned Out Okay, But Not Great. Anyways, This Dude Was About 4 Inches Long And Really Plump. One Of The Biggest Catipillars I Have Ever Seen. Enjoy.

In The Water

I Went Up To White Fish Lake For A Day And A Half Up Near parry Sound. Sleeping Under The Stars Afforded Me The Chance To Wake Up Early Enough To Go Fishing As The Sun Was Rising. I Rowed Out Across The Lake And Just As The Morning Mist Was Lifting The Sun Decided To Show Its Face. The Old Trees in The Water Made For An Exciting Moment And Im Glad My Batteries Died After I Took This Picture. You Like It? Posted by Picasa

You Are My Sunshine

Chloe Dubois At Sunset Point On My Birthday (August 3rd). I Had One Of The Best Birthdays Of My Life When Chloe Came Up From Paris To Hang Out And Spend Some TIme With Me. We Went On A Bunch Of Adventures Around The Area And Even Though We Didn't Go Caving I Still Enjoyed Every Minute Of The Day. Thanks Chloe. Posted by Picasa

New Topic...Sort Of

Okay, So That Photo Of Kristy Has Generated The Most Comments For Any Single Photo On This Site EVER! The Conversation You Kids Are Having On Here Is Kinda Rediculous And I Love It - But It's Time For A New Topic Of Conversation. Since I Haven't Been Out Taking Pictures Due To Extreme Work Overload And A Few Wicked Adventures With Chloe When I Just Neglected To Bring Batteries With My Camera, I Have Decided To Post Yet Another Sunset Picture. They Are Kinda My "Staple Photo" And You Can Never Really Go Wrong With A Sunset/Sunrise Picture. So Here It Is - And Maybe Next Week I Can Post Some New Adventure Photos Since I Have A Couple Planned IN The Coming Days. Cheers Folks! Posted by Picasa

Kristy

Is This What You Would Look Like After A 4 Kilometer Sprint Through The Wilderness Of Wasaga Beach Darting And Dashing Out Of Thickets And Brush, Climbing 130 Foot Sand Dunes At Full Pace, Hopping Logs And Rocks, Traversing River Rapids Barefoot, All While Running For Your Life From Some Unknown Creature, Possibly Manifested Form Your Deepest Fears, Possibly Just A Squirrel? Or Is This How You Would Look After Sleeping On Alex's Couch For A Few Hours Before Waking Up To Feed The Chameleon? You Decide. Posted by Picasa
