Stranded
It's 30 Feet Form The Puddle In The Foreground To The River In The Background. Why Is That Significant You Ask? Well, It Seems That That Is How Far The River Flooded During Last Weeks Rain/Melt. How Do I Know This Might Be Your Next Question. Well, I Found 23 Fish Stranded Flopping Around In The Mud Barley Below The Surface Of That Puddle. It Seems When The Waters Retreated The Fish Became Isolated In An Ever Shrinking Puddle Of Death. Well I Couldn't Stand By And Allow This Creatures To Perish So I Plunged My Hand Into The Mud And Pull Them Out One By One And Walked Each Of The Little guys To The River Where I Set Them Free To See Another Day.
Rainbowed
This Colourful Little GuyWas The First To Be Saved And At 3.5 Inches long He Was Also The Biggest. What A Weird Little Adventure Today Was But I Have Come To Expect These Situations, As Odd As They Tend To Be And I Enjoy Finding Myself In Bizzarre Sircumstances. I Think This Rainbowed Friend Of Mine Was Glad That I Found Myself in Todays Odd Situation Too.
Spiked
This Is The Other Type Of Fish That I Found Stranded In The Puddle And He's A bit Of A 'Prick'. Here I Am Saving The Dudes Life And What Does He Decide To Do? Well I'll Tell Ya, He Pricks Me! The Nerve Of Some Fish These Days. I Carried Him All The Way To The River And Plopped Him In And Said "Good Day!" To Him And His Attitude. Then I Was Spotted Stumbling Out of The Brush With Burrs And Twigs And Mud All Over Me And A Bit Of A Smirk On My Face ~ I'm Sure The Passers By Thought I Was A Bit of A Loon, And You Know What? They Are Probably Right. Cheers

Breakfast
No, Not The Deer, I Don't Eat Venisn - I Was Still Awake The Other Morning At 6:00AM (Not Unlike this Morning) So I Decided To Go For A Ride. I Followed The Train Tracks From The University And Continued To Follow Them Until I Was Well Outside Of Town. Early On In My Adventure Along The Rails I Found This Little Guy Eatin' His Breaky So I Snapped A Few Quick Ones And Then Continued On My Way. Cheers

Backwards Begins
I Forgot To Post Them In Order Today So You Have To Go Down The The Bottom (have a 'gander' at this) To Read About my Adventure in Chronological Order Today. Anyways, This Was The Muddy Trail I took Out of The Forests To Get Back To The Civilized World This Morning. It Was So Much Fun Actually Getting To Ride The Trails, Insetad Of Walking With my Bike Through Snow, Today. I Got A Little Tired, A Lot Muddy, And Very Happy On My Adveture This Morning. Can't Wait For My Next One And Especially The Summer! Cheers
Makeshift We Are
Well, About Half Way Through My Adventure I Came To A River. Problem Was I Wanted To Cross This River And Shoot On The Other Side. After Pacing The Banks In Search Of A Natural Crossing And Coming Up Short I Decided To Construct My Own Bridge. At 8:00 In The Morning With Zero Hours Of Sleep And Two Hours Trekked Into The "Wilderness" Making A Bridge To Cross A 15 Foot Wide River Proved to Be Quite The Callenge, Let Alone Crossing This Makeshift & Shaddy Slippery Beast With A Bike In My Hands. After Finding A Few Logs And Knocking Down A Couple Of Dead Trees I Somehow Managed To Build It And Cross It With No Incidences - Anyone Wanna Join Me Next Time?kinda a crappy picture but its here to help tell the story - not for the artisic side of things
Red Rock River
Now, I Don't Think That This Is A Very Healthy Stream Considering That Every Rock That Was Submerged Was Tinted This Very Briliant Rust Red Colour. I Am Not Sure What Kind Of Deposites These Are Or Just What The Contaminant Is But I Do Know That This Isn't Right. That Old Landfill - I Think That's What It Is - In The Backgroud Probably Provides A Bit Of An Answer.
There You Are
So I Was In This Field Racing To Get To My Hill To Catch The sun As It Popped Over The Horizon And Noticed That The Sky Just Started To Glow Man. I Thought I Was Too Late but I Couldn't Find The Sun In The Sky Anywhere (From All The Fog And Mist This Morning). Then, Out Of Nowhere, It Popped Up Out Of The Haze And Was Just Incredible. This Picture Barely Captures How Awsome It Was This Morning But It Was Definately Something To See For Yourself. If You Ever Want To Join Me On One Of These Adventures Don't Hesitate To Ask - But Be Prepared For Crazy Hard Work - This Isn't No Walk In The Park.
