Abstract?

Believe It Or Not, This Is The Kitchener-Waterloo Skyline Taken From "The Hill" Near The Hydro Cut. Kris And I Had A Little Adventure A Few Days Ago And I Had A Blast Showing Someone My Idea Of "Fun" And Got To Take A Few Out Of The Ordinary Shots. Cheers

Keira

A New Adventure And A New Friend; That's What Today Was All About. I Spent The Afternoon With My New Friend Keira Walking The Streets And Visiting Various Parks In Kitchener-Waterloo. She Didn't Mind Me Stopping To Scope Out Possible Photography Opportunities Along The Way And I Didn't Mind Her Stopping To Scope Out Other Dogs Pee. Sadly, She Will Be Returning Home To Paris, Ontario Later Today But I Remain Optimistic That We Will Cross Paths Again.
P.S. She's Chloe's Dog In Case You Were Wondering.

Today's Adventure

After Team Canada Lost To The Swiss This Morning I Needed To Get Some Frustration Out. I Decided To Go On A Bike Ride That Lasted Almost 6 Hours And Took Me To Places I Had No Idea Were Out There. This Is About Half An Hour Into The Ride Looking Out Over Kitchener-Waterloo. I Hopped A Few Fences With My Bike To Get Here, It Was Worth It. In The Minus 15º Weather Without The Windchill I Managed To Have One Of The Best Adventures Of The Year. Have A Look At Some Of The Pictures I Took As I Ventured Right Off The Map. "Power Up!"

Permanently Parked

Found This Old Beauty In The Middle Of A Forest This Afternoon ~ Odd Place For One Of These Don't You Think? Posted by Picasa

In The Middle

I Found Myself In The Middle Of No Where About 3 Hours Into My Ride. Well, Actually, The Exact Middle Is Closer To Where That Tree Is Over There, I Was On The Fringe Of The Middle Of No Where ~ Which I Guess Is Some Where. Posted by Picasa

Cresting The Ridge

Holy Cow Was This Hill Ever Huge, I Felt Like A Champion When I Finally Reached The Top, Then I Came Back Down. Posted by Picasa

Ghost Rider

The Snow Was Very Deep And The Wind Was Very Cold Way Up Here In The Middle Of This Field ~ Why The Heck Was I Up There? Posted by Picasa

Here Is The Church, Here Is The Steeple...

Upon Finally Returning To Civilization I Stopped To Warm My Hands And Snap This Little Shot Of A Church On Queen Street. I Like The Little Cloud Up There. Posted by Picasa

A Quick Escape

If There Were Ever To Be A Fire In This Building This Fire Escape Could Prove To Come In Very Handy. Posted by Picasa

Cloud 9

My Fingers Had Lost Almost All Feeling At This Point Of The Ride Due To The Fridgid Temperatures But I Managed To Press The Shutter Button To Snatch This Photo Of A Really Neat Sun Pillar. Posted by Picasa

Feeling The Burn

My Legs Started To Really Feel The Burn Of Todays Ride Just As The Sun Started To Burn Up The Sky With This Beautiful Sunset. Posted by Picasa

Homeward Bound

Nearly 6 Hours After I Commenced Todays Adventure The Sun Had Begun To Set. As I Arrived At Waterloo Park To Finish The Final Stretch Of My Journey I Stopped To Take My Last Picture And Then Headed Home. Posted by Picasa

On My Way

On My Way To The Hydro Cut Tonight I Stopped On The Side Of The Road To Capture The Sun So As Not To Be Left In The Dark Shadow Of The Night. My Efforts Proved Futile But I Ended Up With This Neat Picture Out Of The Deal. Posted by Picasa

Cirrus

What A Great Evening For A Ride, A Little On The Chilly Side, -13ºC, But An Enjoyable Ride All In All. Posted by Picasa

Shooting In The Dark

From A While Ago, I Just Pointed The Camera At A Field And This Is What I Got. In The Pitch Black Conditions I Had No Way Of Properly Setting Up My Camera, But It Turned Out Cool. Posted by Picasa

Reaping The Benefits

This Squirrel Was Quietly Enjoying The Benefits Of His Residential Location, A Piece Of Food Conveniently Dropped By One Of The Local First Year Students At Village One, When I Decided To Make Him Famous...Well, At Least Put His Picture Online, That's Famous Enough For A Squirrel. Posted by Picasa

Campaigning

Took This In The Coffee Shop. In The Background Is A Campaign Poster For The Fed's Election Here At Waterloo. Vote Feb. 14-16.

For Your Protection

They Put This Hand Rail Around The Perimeter Of The Rooftop Court Yard On Village One Residence So You Don't Fall Off, After All, It Is On The Roof. Thought It Looked Neat In This Picture. Posted by Picasa

Surrounded

I Liked The Juxtaposition I Found With This Shrine Of Summer Nestled Atop This Frozen Waste Product Of The Current Season. Hope You Do To. Posted by Picasa

Goodbye Blue Sky

Titled This Because I Am Now About To Go To Sleep And I Likely Won't Wake Until After The Sun Has Set. I Haven't Slept Yet And I'm Beginning To Fade So I'm About To Miss What Is Sure To Be A Glorious Day.
"Goodbye Blue Sky. Hello Pillow."

As The Fog Rolls In

"Man Was It Ever Foggy Last Night. I Took This Shot At 4:30AM In Waterloo Park Just Before For The Fog Turned As Thick As Pea Soup."
